GOOD IDEA GREAT ADVIVE WORDS TO LIVE BY KEEP THE FAITH &THE GOOD WORK YOUR BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
: Do you have what it takes? The ability to practice til you know its right... patience to know it won't happen over night.
: Imagination? Learn how the instructions say to do it, then change it to where it's no longer the trick you bought. Just because you know how it's done, doesn't mean that you 'have' to do it that way. (talking about presentation here people)
: Learn the basics, after you learn them, learn them again and again and again. (Have you ever listened to a musician or singer? Even though they know how to play or sing, they still do their scales before preforming. Their 'basics' warm them up for their show.)
: Don't be afraid to mess up while practicing in front of friends, they will more than likely be glad to help you and they won't hold it against you!
: Don't be afraid of the truth!!!!! If you ask a peer how something looks and they say it was terrible, find out why! Discuss where, what, why, when, how to make it better. Don't take it personally, learn from it.
: I could go on forever here, but I won't. The most important part of being a magician is to BE YOU! You may like that thing David Blain did, or Copperfeild did, or any one else for that matter, but if you copy it word for word and move for move, it's not you. You gotta keep the "I" in magician, otherwise, you get 'MAGCAN', and that makes no sense.
: Til next we meet. . .
