Unfortunately, you may have gotten into magic for the wrong reason!! And in four months you've not yet realized it.

First some simple truths:
***people want to be fooled
***people enjoy their amazement and really don't want to know how the tricks are done.

That being said, your role as a magician is to bring enjoyment to the people. Its not about how knowledgeable YOU are or what control YOU can have over cards, coins, whatever. If you began magic to elevate yourself above those in your audience, to quelch some insecurities you may have, I strongly suggest you go into some other field (law enforcement, medicine etc.)

Don't be angry, the field of magic is all about just the opposite. It's about joy, fun, and amazement. I don't expect that you would learn this fact in 4 months of experience... I expect that you'd learn it before you entered the field in the first place.

What ever you decide, I wish you the best and hope for you the LEAST amount of anger.
